The third set saw the Cougars move out in front early and stayed there despite mini runs from Casper on getting the win.
Goncalves led the way with a triple double of 32 set assists, 10 points and 10 digs. She also pitched in two kills and four digs. Also for the Cougars, Soares finished with eight kils, four blocks, six digs, two aces and five points; Huddleston had nine kills and five blocks; Aruajo had 11 kills, five digs, two blocks, and two points; Youngblood had 12 digs, seven points, and thre kills; Alex Rivera had seven digs; Abbey Wade finished with six digs and two kills; Grace had three digs; and Taylor VanderWerff had three kills and three blocks.
