Western Nebraska Community College will host six volleyball camps in July for girls in 4th through 12th grade from.
The first camp will be held July 11 and 12 from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and it will be a Little Cougars camp for girls in 4th through 6th grade. Cost of the camp is $70.
The second camp will be an Individual Skills Camp to be held July 13 and 14 for girls in 7th and 8th grade. The camp will be held from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and the cost is $70.
The third camp will be a Setter/Hitter Camp for girls in the 6th through 9th grades. This camp will be held July 18 and 19 from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. The cost of the camp is $100 per camper.
The fourth camp will be an Individual Skills Camp to be held on July 20 and 21 for girls in 9th through 12th grade. The camp will be held from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and the cost is $70.
The fifth camp will be a Setter/Hitter Camp for girls in the 10th through 12th grades. This camp will be held July 25 and 26 from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. The cost of the camp is $100 per camper.
The final camp will be Team Camp on July 28 and 29. This camp will have competition for 12 junior varsity and 12 varsity teams. The cost of this camp is $30 per player. Each team needs to be accompanied by a coach.
The camps will be conducted by WNCC head coach Giovana Melo, Cougar assistant coaches, as well as current and former players. The camps are a way to fine tune one’s volleyball playing skills.
