WNCC volleyball holding several camps this summer



The Western Nebraska Community College volleyball team will be holding six volleyball camps this summer at Cougar Palace.
            The six camps include a team camp on July 1-2, which is open to junior varsity and varsity teams. The cost of the camp is $30 per player.
            The other five camps are skills camps and run from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 12:30-3:30 p.m. Camp 1 is a Little Kids Camp (third through fifth grades) and will be held July 8. Cost is $60 per camper.
            Camp 2 is an Individual Skills Camp for 6th-8th grades and will be held July 9-10. The cost of the camp is $70 per camper.
            Camp 3 is a Setters/Hitters Camp for 7th-9th grades and will be held July 17-18. The cost of the camp is $100 per camper. Former Husker and Scottsbluff High volleyball standout Jordan (Wilberger) Sauer will help with the camp.
            Camp 4 is an Individual Skills Camp for 9th-12th grades and will be held July 22-23. The cost of the camp is $70 per camper.
            Camp 5 is a Setters/Hitters/Liberos Camp for 10th-12th grades and will be held July 24-25. The cost of the camp is $100 per camper.
            The camps will be conducted by WNCC head coach and assistant coach Fatima Balza. Also, current and former players will help with the camps.
