Eichelberger also had two RBIs, as well as Bourdon and Ryman. Bourdan's 2-run scoring double in the fourth inning put the Cougars up 4-3. In the fifth, Ryman delivered another 2-run double to put the Cougars up 7-3.

Natasha Dypchey picked up the win for the Cougars going six innings, allowing three runs, two hits and striking out one. Dypchey gave up one home run, a 2-run shot by Chadron High graduate Cassie Humphrey in the third.
