WNCC, The Playhouse team up to hold fund-raiser for Cougar Athletics

The Western Nebraska Community College athletic department and the Playhouse Skate and Fun Center will be teaming up for a fun athletic fundraiser.

On Sunday, March 28, The Playhouse will be sponsoring an afternoon skate from 4-7 p.m. for area students and youngsters of all ages. The cost is $5 with $2 skate rentals. Pizza and pop are included with all admission donated back to the WNCC athletic department.

Their will be two skate sessions this year. Gering, Mitchell, Alliance and Kimball residents will skate from 4-5:30 p.m. Scottsbluff, Bayard and Bridgeport residents will skate from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Students and youngsters from other towns need to call the Playhouse for times.

The students will also get a chance to skate with the Cougars, get autographs and have pizza (which is included). Cougar athletes will be in attendance during the sessions.

Inflatable gyms will also be set up for those that do not want to skate.
