The WNCC women's basketball team put six players in double figures en route to a convinving 123-42 win over Salish Kooteni Tribal College Thursday in the first day of the Williston, N.D., Tournament.
The Cougars were paced by Shaquilah Davis with a double-double. The freshman finished with 24 points and 10 steals, including going 3-for-4 from the arc.
Also collecting double-digits on the night were Dana Iverson with 16 points, Maggie Murtagh and Alison Cheney with 15 points, Carly Glisan with 14 and Ellie Cosme-Gonzalez with 13.
WNCC, who held a 57-32 lead at intermission, will face Williston State Friday before taking on Lake Region on Saturday.
