The Western Nebraska Community College volleyball team will leave Tuesday afternoon for the NJCAA national volleyball tournament in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and the college will honor the team with a send-off Tuesday morning at 10:45 a.m. in the commons area of the college.
The public is invited to send-off the team in their trek to a national title. There will be speeches and other presentations during the 15-minute send-off, as well as refreshments.
The Cougars will open the national tournament at 3 p.m. (MST) on Thursday against Hillsborough Community College. Action for the national tournament can be head on the Internet at www.kozy1013.com.
