Western Nebraska Community College will be sponsoring the 2011 Cougirlz Dance Camp for girls ages preschool to fifth grade.
The camp will be held Friday, Jan. 21 from 4-6 p.m. in Cougar Palace and the participants will perform at halftime of the WNCC and Northeast (Neb.) Community College men’s basketball game on Saturday, Jan. 22. Game time is slated for 3 p.m.
The camp is designed to give campers a competitive opportunity to develop the fundamental skills of dancing and sportsmanship. The camp will teach and focus on basic skill development, a fun dance routine, and a cheer.
Campers will be divided based on age and skill level. The cost of the camp is $25 before Jan. 17, which includes a T-shirt. Registration is $35 after that date or at the door.
