WNCC Cougar Golf Classic set for June 9

Western Nebraska Community College’s athletic department will host the fourth annual Cougar Golf Classic Saturday, June 9 at Monument Shadows Golf Course.

The event is a four-person scramble with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. Entry fee is $50 per person, and there is a limit of 36 teams. Entry deadline is June 1. The entry fee includes green fees, cart and a Runza lunch. All proceeds will benefit athletic and Ron Brillhart scholarship funds.

There will be a payout for first, second and third places. There will also be hole-in-one prizes sponsored by Scottsbluff Screenprinting, Safetyline Consultants and Roy’s Plumbing and Heating, as well as hole prizes.

Registration forms can be picked up at the college and Monument Shadows Golf Course.

Hole sponsorships are available for $100, as well as a Fairway and Green Sponsorship.
